Walter Tighe, President Sustaining Edge Solutions, Inc.

Walter Tighe is President of Sustaining Edge Solutions, Inc. and has twenty four years’ expertise in business systems improvement in both manufacturing and transactional environments. His experience includes government, defense, automotive, semiconductors, customer service, electronics, mechanical, medical, logistics, aerospace, nonprofit and private services enterprises. Walter has a MBA, University of Redlands and is a member of the Institute of Management Consultants, a Senior Member of the American Society for Quality, and is an ASQ Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence. As a management consultant improving operational and quality system performance his clients have included Intel, Raytheon, Solon, MedAire International, Sandia National Laboratories, Freescale Semiconductor, Motorola, and Cisco Systems. As a Quality Manager with the Department of Defense he led the first DoD Kaizen Lean Manufacturing program saving over $6 million in operating costs.
He has worked with numerous companies enhancing the competitive advantage of business through strategy deployment, process improvement, design and implementation of global business management systems and effective performance measurement. Walter has been instrumental in saving clients millions of dollars in reduced operating costs and improving customer satisfaction. Walter has third party registrar auditor experience with International Certifications and Moody International, both Global Management Systems Registrars and he is a RABQSA Certified Quality Management Systems Auditor. He has conducted numerous third party audits, and has delivered quality systems training to diverse organizations. Walter is a Six Sigma Black Belt and has a broad range of experience in the areas of implementation consulting, process improvement and systems integration.
Mathew Nadakal, Senior Consultant

Mathew Nadakal has twenty years of progressive experience in strategy planning and deployment, engineering and quality management in manufacturing and service operations. His ability to conceptualize the voice of the customer, management strategy techniques, and convert them into actionable plans has brought break-through results to companies such as Thermax and Belden. He has a passion to custom tailor the tools of lean and six sigma to specifically fit the need and culture of smaller organizations to help their bottom line and growth.
A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Mathew has been helping business units overcome chronic issues by implementing systems that produce measurable results. He has a track record of making significant improvements in cycle time, waste, scrap, errors and increased revenue from transactional processes and new product development. Mathew holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from India and a MBA from the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management.
