IATF 16949 Automotive Management System

IATF 16949 was published and released in October 2016.  The standard applies to the design and development, production and when relevant, installation and servicing of automotive-related products.  If you want to be a supplier to the world’s largest automotive manufacturers you will need to achieve this standard because it is used as a contractual requirement. A key requirement of the standard is the fulfillment of customer-specific requirements, established by the automobile manufacturers. The IATF 16949 standard includes the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
