ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor

This five-day Lead auditor-training is based upon ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management Systems Standard) and ISO 19011 (Guidelines for auditing quality systems). Course attendees who complete the course and pass the examination will have met the QSA and IATCA requirements for auditor training as a part of the auditor registration process.

ISO 19011:2002 provides up-to-date guidance on the principles of auditing, managing an audit program, conducting management system audits, as well as, guidance on the competence of management system auditors. This course is comprised of formal classroom sessions, role-playing, group workshops, and open forum discussions. This approach provides the necessary auditing skills through practical exercises and hands-on applications.

This course is delivered in 5 days (Mon-Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. / Friday 8:00-12:00 p.m.)

Audience

This course is intended for anyone responsible for leading an audit or interested in satisfying the training requirements for becoming a Certified Lead Auditor. This includes ISO Management Representatives, Quality Directors, Managers, Engineers, Auditors, and ISO Coordinators typically attend this course.

Prerequisite

A prior review of the ISO 9001:2008 standard and internal audit experience are strongly recommended for this course.
