The 8 Disciplines (8D) of Problem Solving

The 8 Disciplines (8D) process is used to identify, correct and eliminate process problems. The methodology is useful in product and process improvement with a high rate of success. It establishes a standard company practice, with an emphasis on data and facts. It focuses on the origin of the problem by determining Root Cause and it incorporates all the important aspects of problem management, i.e., containment of the problem, root cause analysis, problem correction, and problem prevention. Practical team exercises will help you gain the necessary skills to understand and put into practice this proven methodology.
